Chilean Codelco and its Radomiro Tomic miners reach an agreement
April 6 news, Chile's national copper company Codelco said on Friday that a union worker at its Radomiro Tomic copper mine has agreed to the company's final contract. Codelco is the world's largest copper producer.
The union has 744 members and represents the majority of workers in the mine. It rejected a new labor contract final plan last week and was forced into the government mediation period.
The Radomiro Tomic copper mine produced 319,000 tons of copper in 2017.
