Canadian Teck Resources Acquires Quebrada Blanca Copper Mine

Teck Resources, Canada’s largest diversified mining company, said on Wednesday that it has increased its stake in the Quebrada Blanca copper mine in northern Chile to 90%. The mine produced 23 million tons of copper last year, creating a profit of $182 million.
