BMO: Global copper consumption this year or only about 1.5%
Colin Hamilton, general manager of BMO Capital Markets Commodity Research Department, said at the World Copper Conference in Santiago, Chile, last week that “electric vehicles are a promising industry, but it is expected that the global refined copper consumption this year will be only About 1.5%, even within the next five years, will not exceed 3%."
