Peruvian mineral exports slightly increased by 0.4% in February

According to the BNAmericas website, the export volume of major mineral products including copper, gold, lead and tin declined due to the decrease in export volume.

Peruvian Central Bank statistics show that in February, Peru's mineral exports amounted to 2.195 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 0.4% year-on-year; total merchandise exports totaled 3.575 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 0.5%. The trade surplus in February dropped from 727 million U.S. dollars a year ago to 461 million U.S. dollars, mainly because imports increased by 9.6 percent to 3.114 billion U.S. dollars.
